Air Jordan VII

What a girl (my niece) really wants is Air Jordan 7 (VII) Retro "Orion" that was release in 2011. There is nowhere to find an authentic one to buy for her!!! The fake Jordan sites having pictures of those shoes either steal your credit card information or ship you a pair of fake shoe. Most of the time, ship nothing. There are horrible stories posted on the internet that no shipment will occur or you will receive a bill that your credit card was charged on some remote oversea store or motel that you have never been. I guess she will be disappointed at this moment. But I think the AJ 4 retro I bought for her will make her happy for a little while.

The Air Jordan 7 was worn by Mike in the 1991-92 season as well as the gold-medal winning Barcelona Olympic Games.

While wearing the Air Jordan 7′s, Michael Jordan won his third MVP award, second NBA championship, and the NBA scoring title. On top of that, Jordan took home his second Olympic Gold Medal when the Dream Team of ’92 crushed the international competition including a 116-48 rout over Angola.

The Air Jordan 7 is a very unique shoe in the Jordan line as well as a basketball shoe. The Air Jordan 7 featured Huarache technology which made the shoe really stick to your foot. The shoe was much lighter weight than some of the previous Air Jordans as well. The Air Jordan 7 was also unique in that it did not feature the “Nike Air” logo, a visible air unit, or clear soles.

Once again, designed by Tinker Hatfield, the shoe had something new. A neoprene sockliner was the first of its kind. The Air Jordan 7 was promoted in a marketing campaign in which Michael Jordan appeared with Bugs Bunny. The Air Jordan 7′s then inherited the nickname “the Buggs”.The Air Jordan 7 was a love/hate shoe. Many collectors thought it was the greatest shoe ever, while many thought it was the worst shoe imaginable. None-the-less, it is still a very popular shoe and has a large following whenever re-released. The first retro release happened in December, 2002, but Nike is set to bring the Air Jordan 7 back again. In 2004, Nike re-released the Olympic colorway to celebrate the 2004 Athens Games. In 2006, Nike is set to bring back the White/Black-Cardinal Jordan 7′s as well as a handful of Retro+’s.
